    External vulnerability scanning

    Your public-facing systems undergo external vulnerability scanning. Scan results are reviewed as part of the overall Plus assessment alongside the audit findings.

    Plus certificate issued digitally

    Once the audit and scanning confirm compliance, your NCSC Cyber Essentials Plus certificate is issued digitally. The Plus process typically takes 1 to 3 working days from the audit date.
